Terms and Conditions

1. The Client is solely responsible for any and all harm or damage caused by their pets while it is under the care of Em’s Dog Walking and Pet Care.

2. The Client agrees that Em’s Dog Walking and Pet care has relied on the Client’s representation that their pets are in good health and has not harmed or shown aggression or threatening behaviour toward any person or any other pets.

3. Dogs walked by Em’s Dog Walking and Pet care will wear a GPS tracker to enhance dogs safety but Em’s Dog Walking and Pet care are not responsible if the tracker go out of range or the system fails.

4. The Client agrees to notify Em’s Dog Walking and Pet care immediately of any unwelcome, aggressive, procreative, or dangerous behaviour of their dog that has potential to cause harm to any other dog or individual.

5.Em’s Dog Walking and Pet care will only let dogs off the lead once an ‘off the lead consent form’ has been signed, and will remain at the discretion of Em’s Dog Walking and Pet care.

6. I give Em’s Dog Walking and Pet care permission to transport my pet(s) to the vets and authorise treatment in the event of an emergency or sickness. The Client is responsible for the full cost of treatment of any injuries or illness that their dog receives while under the care of Em’s Dog Walking and Pet care, together with any associated costs. The Client authorises Em’s Dog Walking and Pet care to seek such veterinary advice and/or treatment as they deem necessary; where possible this will be carried out by the Client’s usual/preferred Vet, but this cannot be guaranteed (e.g. in an emergency) and the Client accepts that Em’s Dog Walking and Pet care may at their discretion use any registered Vet. The Client agrees to pay all such costs immediately upon pick-up of their pet/s, or by agreement with the proprietor.

7. Owners of a bitch in Season must inform Em’s Dog walking and Pet care and whilst in season these dogs will be kept on lead for their safety.

8. The Client accepts that even though their dog is vaccinated against Bordetella (Kennel Cough) there is a chance that their dog can still contract Kennel Cough. The Client agrees that they will not hold Em’s Dog Walking and Pet care responsible.

9. The Client consents to their pets being photographed, filmed for the use on Social Media and our Website.

10. The Client agrees to ensure their dog has not eaten in the hour before pick up by Em’s Dog walking and Pet care to ensure sufficient time to digest food before any exercise or play.

11. The Client agrees to willingly provide keys of which maybe be held or arrange access to the pets property for the agreed times. 

12. The Client agrees that, by signing the Terms of business will indemnify Em’s Dog Walking and Pet care in full against any liability arising from loss or damage to the property or its contents, in present and future circumstances.

13. No variation of these Terms and Conditions will have effect unless confirmed by Em’s Dog Walking and Pet care in writing.

14. Payment for services from Em’s Dog walking is due before or at the time of services provided. For Pet care services a 25% deposit is due at time of booking and the balance paid 7 days prior to your departure.

15. Cancellation of any services must be given at least 72 hours prior to when booking starts for any refunds
